The Palais Royale will host an Easter Brunch on Sunday, April 8, 2012. Guests can "relax in the historical charm of the elegant ballroom while enjoying the delicious buffet and gracious service. The Easter Bunny will visit and have treats for children. A pianist will perform background music. Photographer Peter Ringenberg will be available to take family photos for a nominal cost."

The event will feature a buffet including traditional breakfast and lunch favorites, made to order omelets and French toast, carved ham and roast beef, fresh seafood, Chef Tonya's decadent dessert display and much more. The price is $29.95 for adults and $14.95 for children ages 12 and under plus taxes and gratuity. Non-alcoholic beverages are included in the price. A full cash bar including top shelf liquor and specialty wines will be available at additional charge.

For reservations, call the Morris Box Office at 574-235-9190 or 800-537-6415. The Box Office is open regular hours Monday to Friday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The Palais Royale ballroom opened in 1922 and hosted all the major big bands of the day. Duke Ellington, Tommy & Jimmy Dorsey, Harry James, Guy Lombardo and Cab Calloway are just a few of the great bands seen at the Palais in its heyday. There were dances every night of the week and the Palais was the place for countless celebrations, performances, dances and gatherings. The Palais Royale is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. For more information, visit www.PalaisRoyale.org.
